Such a beautiful home. The building is currently up for sale. Although, if I had a $$$ net worth that is 10x more than the asking price of the property($9 Million, US), I would certainly buy the property and renovate the church and the 1960's accommodation block extension(Renovated into 15 ensuite guest bedrooms done in the late Victorian and Edwardian style fittings with oak paneling and four poster beds on the top 2-floors, with the ground floor as a museum and visitors center) as a wedding venue. The Hall itself would be renovated back into a private home as it was when it was under the Hill family. But the hard part would be to relocate and acquire all of the house's original contents that was sold in 1906. That alone might cost more than the house itself. But the important part would be that the house would be placed into a trust and financially endowed, and allow the return of the current Viscount Hill and his family, along with their family archives. Thus the whole idea about acquiring Hawkstone Hall is to make it into the Chatsworth House of Shropshire, England.
